UPDATE ON FUNDRAISER: R33 500 raised so far!

What a start this year – with one week to go, we’ve already raised about 75% of our goal.

We’re plunging into the 2024 “I love TROUBLE” Fundraiser. Can you believe that this is already the tenth one? So, please excuse us if we get a little sentimental…If we meet these goals, we will have helped to keep Jenny going for a full decade! Here are some of her highlights from that time:

For those of you who don’t know Jenny (a.k.a. TROUBLE), feel free to browse our website to find out more. These annual fundraisers are vital in keeping her going – and every year we are amazed not only at the generosity of her friends and acquaintances, but also of many people who have never met her.

Last year, we raised an astounding R 65 200 (about 3 275 Euro at the time) – which included the funds for a new wheelchair. Thank you again to EVERYONE who chipped in so generously!!!

Now, we’re looking to cover Jenny’s expenses for 2025.

Our Fundraising Goal:
By 30.11.2024 we want to raise R 45 000 (ca.  2 420 €)

The plan is to do so by getting

R 770 (ca. 42 €) per month in new regular, monthly contributions and

R 35 750 (ca. 1925 €) in one-off donations.

Details about monthly commitments:

Some people would like to give more than they have available as a lump-sum. For them, a monthly contribution is a great solution. By spreading out the payments, you often don’t even notice it on your bank account.

We’re looking for these new monthly commitments in SA:

• 2 people who can commit R100 per month
• 1 person who can commit R200 per month

And Internationally (from all the countries with TROUBLE fans, including Britain, Sweden,

Germany, New Zealand) we’re looking for:

• 2 people who can commit 5 Euro per month
• 1 person who can commit 10 Euro per month

This would leave us with a little bit extra to cover transfer costs or currency fluctuation.

If a monthly commitment is not your thing, one-off donations are also very, very welcome! Even small amounts really help!
