These annual fundraisers have played a very important role in keeping her going in the last four years. Our 2017<span lang=\"EN-US\"> fundraiser brought in <\/span><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">R47 346. <\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">And now, we&#8217;re looking to top that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal<\/strong><strong>: By 30 November 2018 we want to<\/strong><strong> raise R 89 400 (5 450 \u20ac)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The plan is to do so by generating<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R 22 200 (1 360 \u20ac) in one-off donations<\/li>\n<li>R 5600 (345 \u20ac) in regular monthly contributions (limited to a year)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year&#8217;s goal is quite an increase from last year, partly due to inflation, but also because Jenny is hoping to get into a home closer to her family and friends who live on the other side of Cape Town. Thank you very much to the superfast sponsors!!)<\/p>\n<p>Internationally (from all the countries with TROUBLE fans, including Britain, Sweden, Germany, New Zealand) we\u2019re looking for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 people who can commit\u00a05 Euro per month<\/li>\n<li>10 people who can commit 10 Euro per month<\/li>\n<li>5 people who can commit 15 Euro per month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The regular monthly- contributions have proven vital in coverting costs. Sponsors (maybe you?) commit to transferring a small regular amount (let\u2019s say R50 or 5 \u20ac) every month for one year, from December 2018 until November 2019. When enough people get involved, these regular amounts really add up. Of course, we\u2019ll be very happy if sponsors extend their support beyond Nov. 2019, but we will check in with everyone after a year to see if that is possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But, please remember, one-off donations are also very, very welcome! Even small amounts really, really help!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you can make a contribution, please write to <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:fundraisingfortrouble@gmail.com\"><strong>fundraisingfortrouble(at)gmail.com <\/strong><\/a><strong>and we will send you Jenny&#8217;s banking details.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIZE DRAW:<\/strong><br \/>\nNow we get to the good stuff, where we can give our generous sponsors something back!
