THE COST HAS GONE UP IN THE LAST YEAR AND SOME MEDS ARE INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT TO SOURCE )<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>NAPPIES : R1 500<\/li>\n<li>UNEXPECTED EXPENSES: CAN BE COVERED BY THE EXTRA MONEY RAISED IN 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"m_-6073049076261796640gmail-im\">(ALL FIGURES REFLECT EXPENSES ON A MONTHLY BASIS.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Total:<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>R 20 000 (ca. 1 026 \u20ac) per month or<br \/>\n<\/strong><b>R 240 000 (ca. 12 310 \u20ac)\u00a0 for the year Dec 2025 &#8211; Nov. 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This year, due to the extra money raised last year, our ever expanding base of regular supporters, money paid into the account outside the fundraiser and a favourable exchange rate\u00a0 &#8211; for the first time ever &#8211;\u00a0 we have enough money together to cover Jenny&#8217;s costs in 2026 without a further fundraiser! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO HAS MADE THIS A REALITY!!<\/p>\n<p>For those of you interested in how our fundraisers normally work, here&#8217;s a quick explanation:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>HOW\u00a0 we raise money:<\/strong><br \/>\nNo single person could cover all of these expenses. But since 2015, we&#8217;ve been building a base of regular sponsors, who contribute small amounts every month (limited to one year &#8211; though many choose to carry on) &#8211; and all of those add up to keep Jenny going financially. On top of that, we do a fundraiser every year in November.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>But beside the monthly contributions, one-off donations of ANY AMOUNT, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated.\u00a0<\/strong> Jenny has been sustained these past few years\u00a0by big and small contributions made by wonderful, caring people. THANK YOU!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>___________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>FINANCIAL INFO ABOUT PREVIOUS FUNDRAISERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INFO FOR THE\u00a0 2024\/2025\u00a0 FUNDRAISER.<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>By 30.11.2024 we wanted to raise R 45 000 (ca.\u00a0 2 420 \u20ac)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Amazingly, we completely overshot the goal! Our amazing sponsors contributed\u00a0 R 59 975 (ca. 3 225 \u20ac)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This was made up of:<br \/>\nR744 (40\u20ac) per month in new regular contributions.<br \/>\nR 51 047 (2 745\u20ac) in one-off donations.<\/p>\n<p>We offered to pay the excess money back to our sponsors, but nobody wanted that. They thought it was good if Jenny held on to the funds in case of emergency, or towards the next fundraiser.<\/p>\n<p>THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!!________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>I LOVE TROUBLE<br \/>\nFundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>We raised a total of R 65 200 (around 3 440 \u20ac at the time).<\/em><br \/>\n<em>This amount included an extra R22 000 extra for a new wheelchair.\u00a0<\/em> THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED SO GENEROUSLY!!!________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>I LOVE TROUBLE<br \/>\nFundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We raised a total of R 64 220 (around 3 500 \u20ac at the time):<br \/>\n&#8211; new monthly pledges of R 110\u00a0 a month (R1 320 for the year)<br \/>\n&#8211; one-off contributions amounting to R 62 900<br \/>\nThis was slightly MORE than our goal (which was to raise R 63 360). The extra cash was a blessing because inflation was soaring and we just didn&#8217;t know what to expect. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED SO GENEROUSLY!!!________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>I LOVE TROUBLE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We raised a total of R 48 175 (around 2 699 \u20ac at the time):<br \/>\n&#8211; monthly pledges of R 450\u00a0 a month (R5 400 for the year)<br \/>\n&#8211; one-off contributions amounting to R 42 775<br \/>\nThis was actually MORE than our goal (which was to raise R 45 960). The extra cash has served as a safety net in case of medical emergencies, and to deal with surging expenses.<\/p>\n<p>THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED SO GENEROUSLY\u00a0 DESPITE THE UNCERTAINTIES SURROUNDING THE PANDEMIC!!!!________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>I LOVE TROUBLE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2020<br \/>\n<\/strong>We raised a total of R 68 460 (around 3 800 \u20ac at the time):<br \/>\n&#8211; monthly pledges of R 3 030\u00a0 a month<br \/>\n&#8211; one-off contributions amounting to R 32 100<br \/>\nThis was actually MORE than our goal (which was to raise R 66 000). The extra cash allowed Jenny to take care of some computer investments she&#8217;d been putting off for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE US MONEY DESPITE THE PANDEMIC WITH ALL IT&#8217;S UNCERTAINTIES!!!!________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>I LOVE TROUBLE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2019<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We raised a total of R 44 792 (around 2 757 \u20ac at the time):<br \/>\n&#8211; monthly pledges of R 3 110\u00a0 a month<br \/>\n&#8211; one-off contributions amounting to R 7 472<br \/>\nThis was 88% of our goal &#8211; and even more money came in after the end of the fundraiser.<\/p>\n<p>THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED!!!!________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>I LOVE TROUBLE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We raised a total of R 51 040 (around 3 170 \u20ac at the time)<br \/>\n&#8211; monthly pledges of R 2 415 (150\u20ac)<br \/>\n&#8211; one-off donations of R 22 060 (1 370\u20ac)<\/p>\n<p>THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF OUR SPONSORS!! These contributions enabled Jenny to move into a home closer to her friends and family, which has made her a LOT happier.<br \/>\n________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>TROUBLE&#8217;S HERE TO STAY <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fundraiser in Nov\/Dec 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We raised a total of R 47 346 (around 3 117\u20ac ).<br \/>\n&#8211; Monthly pledges for R 2 414<br \/>\n&#8211; One-off donations totalling R18 378.<\/p>\n<p>THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED!!<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here comes TROUBLE!! <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fundraiser in Nov 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We received monthly pledges for more than R 2 500<br \/>\n115 \u20ac from Germany.<br \/>\nR850 from South Africa.<br \/>\nThe rest of Jenny&#8217;s costs were covered by one-off donations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank you again to everyone who contributed!!
