These annual fundraisers are vital in keeping her going \u2013 and every year we are amazed not only at the generosity of her friends and acquaintances, but also of many people who have never met her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last year, we raised an astounding\u00a0R 65 200 (about 3 275 Euro at the time) \u2013 which included the funds for a new wheelchair.<\/strong> Thank you again to EVERYONE who chipped in so generously!!!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n Now, we\u2019re looking to cover Jenny’s expenses for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Fundraising Goal: The plan is to do so by getting<\/p>\n\n\n\n R 770 (ca. 42 \u20ac) per month in new regular, monthly contributions and<\/p>\n\n\n\n R 35 750 (ca. 1925 \u20ac) in one-off donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you can make a contribution, please write to <\/strong>fundraisingfortrouble(at)gmail.com <\/strong><\/a>and we will send you Jenny\u2019s banking details. <\/strong>We have fundraising accounts in South Africa and Germany or you can transfer via Paypal.<\/p>\n\n\n Details about monthly commitments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Some people would like to give more than they have available as a lump-sum. For them, a monthly contribution is a great solution. By spreading out the payments, you often don\u2019t even notice it on your bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re looking for these new monthly commitments in SA:<\/p>\n\n\n\n And Internationally (from all the countries with TROUBLE fans, including Britain, Sweden,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Germany, New Zealand) we\u2019re looking for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n This would leave us with a little bit extra to cover transfer costs or currency fluctuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If a monthly commitment is not your thing, one-off donations are also very, very welcome! <\/strong>Even small amounts really help!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Again:<\/strong> \u00a0making a donation is easy.
